Most click speed tests are a single button you spam for 10 seconds. FPSAim is different — you click real moving targets, and the test measures CPS, accuracy and reaction time together. The numbers actually mean something.
▶ Start the click speed test — freeA click speed test (also called CPS test — Clicks Per Second) measures how many mouse clicks you can register per second. It is popular with Minecraft PvP players, competitive FPS gamers, and anyone curious about their raw input speed.
Basic CPS tests ignore accuracy — a 20 CPS score means nothing if you are just spamming an empty button. FPSAim combines click speed with hit detection, so your "real" CPS is measured against moving targets, just like in an actual FPS duel.
Example: 180 hits in 60 seconds at 90% accuracy = 3 CPS of useful clicks — far more meaningful than 10 CPS of empty spam.
| Player type | Raw CPS (spam) | Real CPS (on targets, 85%+ acc) |
|---|---|---|
| Casual | 4–6 | 1.5–2.5 |
| Regular FPS player | 6–8 | 2.5–3.5 |
| Competitive FPS | 8–10 | 3.5–4.5 |
| Top Valorant / CS2 | 10–12 | 4.5–6.0 |
| Pro / drag-click specialist | 12–20+ | 5.5–7.5 |
Raw click speed is overrated for most FPS games. What actually correlates with rank is accurate clicks per second — the number of clicks that hit the head, not the number of clicks total. FPSAim reports both; grind the accuracy number up first, then work on speed.
Pick Reflex mode. Single target, short lifetime. The Avg React stat at the end of the round is your clean reaction time in milliseconds.
Pick Precision mode. Tiny targets. The Accuracy stat shows what percentage of your clicks actually hit — your real mouse control number.
Pick Sniper mode. Micro targets with long lifetime. Tests hand steadiness and breathing rhythm.
Yes — no account, no download, no paid tier.
Yes, tap counts as click. For real measurement use a desktop mouse.
For everyday use, 4–6 raw CPS is normal. Competitive FPS players hit 8–10 raw, but more importantly 4+ accurate CPS.
For Minecraft PvP, some argue yes. For FPS games, no — they hurt accuracy. Train normal clicks.
Because raw CPS is nearly useless without accuracy. A targeted click test is what actually predicts in-game aim.
